A SET OF 66 BOOKS WRITTEN FOR ABOUT 40 PEOPLE, DURING 1600 YEARS. THE
OLD TESTAMENT BETWEEN 1500 AND 500 BC. THE NEW TESTAMENT BETWEEN 50 AND 95 AC.
AN ONLY BOOK. What does it make the Bible a book unlike any other, a
permanent Best seller? It is not
the beauty of his stories, essays or poems, however beautiful they may be. Not the
genius of its authors, who, in most cases, didn´t possess literary vocation. Its accuracy
is not scientific because it is not a compendium of Science. But when it comes
in Science, it does in perfection. The geological and other researches increasingly
favor the creation according Genesis. The Bible is always ahead of science.
3200 years before Galileo, it shows the Earth suspended in space. (Job 26.7)
and in round form. (Isaiah 40. 22). Here are
some answers to the unquestionable originality of the book of books.INSPIRATION. This is the very identity in which the writers present
themselves all the time. Thus says the
Lord. All of them maintain an absolute conviction that they are fulfilling
a divine command.
AN ONLY PURPOSE. Despite the differences in personality, style, and period
and time, all worked as if they were contemporaries and were sitting at a
table. All in order to present the fall and redemption of mankind.AN ONLY SUBJECT. Everyone pursues the same theme, redemption in Christ. (Gên.3.15,
53.1a12 Isaiah, John 3:16, Romans 6:23, etc, etc ...)UP TO DATE. The Bible counsels are as valid for people today as for
those who received them firsthand. The variations of times and cultures don´t
invalidate the biblical principles, both for individuals and for nations.INFALLIBILITY. The biblical Proposals are the best possible for the good
of human beings and nations. Everything depends on experience by faith. All those
adhering to the biblical truths were successful, starting with their own
authors. You never read any Bible writer apologizing for doubting anything he
or she proclaimed.CONTRADICTIONS! Some "contradictions" are attributed to the
Bible, but they are apparent contradictions. For example, when Joshua commanded
the sun and moon, and not the system, stop for almost an entire day, he just
used the common language to be understood at any time. Moreover, he had no
scientific knowledge of our century, nor was it in his question. The important
thing was not whether scientific or colloquial language. The most important is
the historical fact witnessed that moment.MORE FAMOUS PASSAGESCreation of the World. Genesis 1 and 2 / Paradise
